Armstrong and Boyata were brutal there.
And they equalise. Well deserved too.
Armstrong has been pathetic and he was disgraceful there. Some crap passing from Bitton and Johansen had an awkward ball that he could only help to Armstrong who was cowardly and timid and heavy in his touch. Simunovic almost recovered (he had been wide when we had the ball and that left a huge gap). Shite football all round really.
Bitton with a dreadful pass, Johansen passing the buck, Armstrong with a shit and cowardly touch, Boyata jogging away in the wrong direction. Simunovic and Gordon both unlucky.
Armstrong off. By God, he was abysmal.

Cole on for Rogic. Rogic wasn’t particularly effective today. Tidy player but not sure what his natural position is. He’s not quite inventive enough to be a #10, not robust enough to play deeper. Nice feet and a good shooter but he doesn’t move the ball quickly and his passing is a bit predictab;e to be a proper creative attacking threat.
Cole nearly scores on his debut.
I’m not a big McGregor fan but he’s been our best of the front 4 today by a distance.
Cole header down into the ground and tipped over by the keeper as it bounced up. Possibly should have scored. Good play from McGregor in the build up.
The goal was very good. Nice weight of pass by Allan to release Tierney and he did very well to slide it across. Really nice finish by Griffiths to wrap his foot around it too.

Cole didn’t look particularly sharp when that fell to him.
Lessons:
- We’re still shit at the back.
- Simunovic hasn’t looked hopeless yet. This is encouraging.
- Tierney is impressive.
- Armstrong is way out of form and appalling at the moment.
- We aren’t much better than ICT who were the better team for long spells (including most of the first half).
