Listening to Michaels Healy Rae and Fitzmaurice on Matt Cooper this evening was embarrassing. Fitzmaurice made a show of himself trying to argue with Dan O’Brien abiut Ireland being better off out of the EU. Healy Rae on about drink driving as usual.

There’s a chap who has been trying to make the same point in the media recently and who has been given quite a bit of traction by the self-styled “thinking” media such as #marian’s SoDuCoMo. Ray Bassett is his name. Personally I think he’s an utter charlatan.
