Ireland in the 80s and 90s was far more openly racist.
In any case, people donât change. Pakistanis hate Indians and vice versa. Asians hate blacks, West Indians hate Africans, everyone hares the English blah blah blah. People are just more careful about expressing it.

If I ask someone for info, and it completely contradicts what the original info I have is, I dont start bellowing out as loud as I can about the wrong figure and making assumptions about the people I previously am known to have an issue with.
