Ireland needs a proper centre-right/centre-left/left divide.

Paul Murphy one of the GOAT TDs ever. Ran an anti water charge campaign, got elected as an independent and helped get water charges abolished. An incredible achievement. Drove the establishment and its shills bananas.

When 6 senior Gardai including a Super and Inspector land at door at 6am on a trumped up charge you know you’ve done something right. Wouldn’t happen in west Africa what went on with that arrest

Gardai giving it the poor mouth about resources and were able to send a hape of them over to arrest a lad that would have happily walked in to his local Garda station.

I’ve just listened back to this. Holy fuck. Refuses to talk about her actions at all, just wants to talk about how hard everything was for her. And O Connor soft soaped it all the way.
I know it’s wrong but I did laugh when she talked about not being able to bring the kids to a playground cos of all the swing jokes she’d get!

He gave a typical RUC answer blame someone who’s not you. No evidence of left wing groups but just assumes they were involved. Hes only there to tow the goverment line.
