Ireland politics (Part 2)

The Green Party are one of the only parties who protect children in this country.

Paedophilia is the ultimate expression of right wing libertarianism and it needs to be bitterly fought against.

Paedophilia and right-wing libertarianism are indivisible.

Sure look at the Republican party in America. A front for paedophilia, rape and sex crime in general.

And there are posters here who support them.

I presume this new “rural” party which David Quinn wants to be pro-meat, pro-car and pro-environmental destruction will also be pro-paedo.

Take it up with the lads here who support them.

I think it is rather different in the case of a TD who personally selected a Councillor to go up be questioned, no?

Particularly pertinent given that when said Councillor resigned the same TD paid tribute to him. That was despite that Councillor claiming it was malicious rumours about him from a “small minority” of the party were wrong.

I think it’s pretty clear why a sitting TD would be questioned over that. From that we learned that Sinn Féin actually questioned him over a gun attack before he was elevated by MLMD.

I just want to be clear that there is a bit of a difference between that and a young girl being molested and terrified into silence for years by a creep. Unless you are disputing the victims statement and you have anything to suggest that Martin had knowledge of that which he didn’t bring forward?

Eamon Ryan on about expanding the state to keep with the needs of the economy:

Local authorities need more staff engaged in engineering, water services, technical planning and the administrative system, and An Bord PleanĂĄla needs more resources, Mr Ryan said, by way of example. Every local authority needs more staff, he added.

Glas was on about local authorities needing more staff to deal with increased demands ages ago. I don’t know why this is coming from Ryan, rather than the Housing Minister who owns the parent department of local government and is most affected by their lack of delivery. Seems bizarre to me.

Are the Ditch releasing more stuff as Niall Collins is talking? Just got a message to say they are but I haven’t seen it.

if only the ditch had a website or twitter

Limerick County Council: sale of Collins’s wife site relied ‘was agreed by the members of the Bruff Electoral Area’ (ontheditch.com)

The Ditch on Twitter: “:rotating_light: Previously unreleased Limerick County Council meeting agenda :rotating_light: ‘The disposal of this site was agreed by the members of the Bruff Electoral Area at the meeting held in January 2007.’ https://t.co/NBfKL10VzD” / Twitter

Collins seems to be saying that a LEA doesn’t have the authority to do that.

With your civil service hat on - which is correct?

The full council has to approve the the disposal before it completes. I’m sure a Lea could direct council officials to put it on the market.

wouldnt know as thats LA. but good governance would indicate that there should be enough checks and balances in place to deter these kind of shenanigans

Mungret GAA will have to distance themselves…

@Cheasty is not clicking into some Russian run propaganda site.

That’s a front for a paedophile ring don’t forget

Paedophilia is the truest expression of right-wing libertarianism.

Right-wing libertarianism works on the basis of the strong being allowed to dominate the weak unchecked. The purest expression of that ideology is the rape of children.

Cosgrave and Bowes absolutely want to destroy democracy. Bowes is far right. Cosgrave is a corrupt crony capitalist who favours Russia and China.

That’s why Bowes, who founded The Ditch and you can sure is still part of the set up, now works as a literal Kremlin agent. He’s a thug.

All this stuff is in front of people’s eyes. They should choose to look.

Do you think the Kremlin are interested in County council meetings in Bruff in the mid to late noughties?
