I think it is rather different in the case of a TD who personally selected a Councillor to go up be questioned, no?
Particularly pertinent given that when said Councillor resigned the same TD paid tribute to him. That was despite that Councillor claiming it was malicious rumours about him from a âsmall minorityâ of the party were wrong.
I think itâs pretty clear why a sitting TD would be questioned over that. From that we learned that Sinn FĂŠin actually questioned him over a gun attack before he was elevated by MLMD.
I just want to be clear that there is a bit of a difference between that and a young girl being molested and terrified into silence for years by a creep. Unless you are disputing the victims statement and you have anything to suggest that Martin had knowledge of that which he didnât bring forward?
Eamon Ryan on about expanding the state to keep with the needs of the economy:
Local authorities need more staff engaged in engineering, water services, technical planning and the administrative system, and An Bord PleanĂĄla needs more resources, Mr Ryan said, by way of example. Every local authority needs more staff, he added.
Glas was on about local authorities needing more staff to deal with increased demands ages ago. I donât know why this is coming from Ryan, rather than the Housing Minister who owns the parent department of local government and is most affected by their lack of delivery. Seems bizarre to me.
wouldnt know as thats LA. but good governance would indicate that there should be enough checks and balances in place to deter these kind of shenanigans
Paedophilia is the truest expression of right-wing libertarianism.
Right-wing libertarianism works on the basis of the strong being allowed to dominate the weak unchecked. The purest expression of that ideology is the rape of children.
