Ireland politics (Part 2)

I want to vote for a party that is unimpeachable on the issues of child protection and punishing the perpetrators of child sexual abuse, general child abuse and general sexual crimes.

Which party should I vote for?

This is a serious question.

hardly windmilling when you wont address the many sins of FFG in this regard

No party can claim that, unfortunately with the history of child abuse in Oireland every party would seem to have skeletons. Its a disgrace really. The church has a lot to answer for.

I was wondering who’d bring up Michael Noonan

Making political capital out of child abuse is Jennifer’s level. She’d make your skin crawl.

That is an absolute disgrace, but point scoring seems wrong.

She said on Nolan radio show other day she only recently heard about this. Needs to be followed up

I cannot stand that man and am glad he’s gone from politics.

Michelle O’Neill;

  • missed him standing feet from her with a handful of people around her

  • knew nothing of references made by two party members

  • knew nothing of SF HR being contacted

What are the odds?!

This poster just went up in Mount Merrion.

Considering SF managed about 10% in the last GE in the constituency (vs about 24% nationwide), the recent local elections had the area polling north of 50% for FG and the road is mainly used as a rat-run for Land Rovers and XC90s on the way to Mount Anville it seems an highly optimistic use of party funds

Only one?

Is that a piece of “spare ground” in front of the billboard? They’ll be all over that in Mount Merrion.

That’s Deerpark playground that’s being done up. The council in their wisdom closed it during the summer for the works and will prob have it open ready for the depth of winter
