They had their chance and have well and truly blown it.
They’ve never had a chance, bro.
They should have been the largest party after the last election.
And an exceptionally poorly run political organisation stumbled upon a large tally of TD’s.
If they had read the room correctly then they were in power.
Their leadership is poor, the nous is non existent and that is why they never have / had a chance imo.

Sinn Fein are like a Gaelic football team who are coached to within an inch of their lives, play in a completely robotic fashion and have zero ability to think on their feet when anything goes against them. For a long time their coaching makes them look unbeatable, they’re a very good league team, but as soon as they concede a goal in a big championship match, hilarious calamity ensues.
