I would say the fact that 12% of the electorate voted for the FG/FF candidate in the recent election has not gone unnoticed.

Immigration is not a made up problem, the same way itâs not a solution to stop it.
Immigration is only âa problemâ if you also count human existence in general as âa problemâ.
Do we count all newborns as âproblemsâ?
Do we count the ill and the infirm as âproblemsâ?

No sensible person is opposed to all immigration, it is to be welcomed and has lots of benefits.
Sensible people however have an issue with 15k+ a year claiming asylum and being accommodated by the state, when at least 80% do not qualify for asylum.
Itâs not that hard to understand.

Also no sensible person has a problem with asylum applicants being accommodated by the state - itâs a basic moral and human right, but in Ireland it is not - which is why we have homeless camps, but it seems a lot of self styled âcommon senseâ merchants wouldnât know common sense or empathy if it gave them a hug.
Itâs becoming increasingly clear that a significant cohort of our citizenry and possibly posters here are enriched by our open borders and associated grifting
