Ireland v Belgium and Lithuania (separate matches)

Sykes and Ronan get call ups.

Hard not to think Jamie McGrath made a poor choice in January. He gets dropped.

Goalkeepers: Caoimhin Kelleher (Liverpool), Gavin Bazunu (Portsmouth, on loan from Manchester City), Mark Travers (AFC Bournemouth)

Defenders: Seamus Coleman (Everton), Matt Doherty (Tottenham Hotspur), Ryan Manning (Swansea City), James McClean (Wigan Athletic), Shane Duffy (Brighton and Hove Albion), John Egan (Sheffield United), Nathan Collins (Burnley), Dara O’Shea (West Bromwich Albion), Darragh Lenihan (Blackburn Rovers).

Midfielders: Conor Hourihane (Sheffield United, on loan from Aston Villa), Josh Cullen (Anderlecht), Jeff Hendrick (QPR, on loan from Newcastle United), Jayson Molumby (West Bromwich Albion, on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion), Alan Browne (Preston North End), Jason Knight (Derby County), Mark Sykes (Oxford United).

Forwards: Callum Robinson (West Bromwich Albion), Troy Parrott (MK Dons, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur), Will Keane (Wigan Athletic), Scott Hogan (Birmingham City), Chiedozie Ogbene (Rotherham United), Connor Ronan (St. Mirren, on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers).

No Obafemi who is the most in form striker, no Connolly but Scott fucking Hogan is selected :see_no_evil: I know Obafemi refused a 21s call up but Kenny has made a balls of this situation, the lad will probably refuse to play for us again now.

Is it possible he did refuse to be called up?

In that scenario, the manager needs to make the public aware of his decision.

Is it not Belgium?

Mick Obafemi, Connolly and Scully all surely worth a place in the squad. Will Keane does seem to be scoring well lately for Wigan to be fair to him.

Who’s Sykes? Any relation to Melanie?

No idea why I typed Portugal. Sincere apologies.

Lad who defected to us from the North. Plays for Oxford.

Are we happy with John Eustace chaps?

No we are not.

The treatment of Vinny Perth by Bossman Steo has been disgraceful.

I’ve missed this. What’s happened between Kenny & Perth?

I think @peddlerscross is being a bit precious here, even Perth is behind Kenny despite any grievances

Perth was Bossman Steo’s assistant for years.

Bossman Steo brought a load of lads from Dundalk into the Ireland set up, analysts etc. even the kitman, but he’s now on his 3rd Assistant and has never thought of asking Perth.

He definitely thought of it

@Bandage like I said, nada.

Perth doesn’t have his UEFA coaching badges does he?

Im fairly sure he has.

It was the Italian chap that wasnt qualified to be anything .

I like Vinny but miles off international standard. Good attempt at a wum though.
