Duffy has actually completely lost it. It’s very worrying
Imagine a year ago being told Kevin Long would be covering for Duffy in an Ireland match
Who was the fella on here that claimed the Brighton manager Treated Duffy poorly?
He never really had it. He got was completely overrated on the basis of being a threat at set pieces. He was the reason we lost to France In euro 2016.
68 minutes without conceding a goal is the stat you won’t hear about.

He was an excellent defender for us for the last 3 years at least. A lot of that is probably because we played very deep but there’s no point rewriting history

He was Brightons best player the year before Potter came for the same reasons
He was a decent defender at times. At no point was he ever better than a championship level player. He wouldn’t lace Richard dunnes boots.
Mick McCarthy played to his strengths and made him a very solid player in a green shirt

Yep he was decent and effective. Lads were making out he was world class at times. He can barely trap a ball.
And Richard Dunne wasnt fit to lace Paul McGraths boots etc.
It easy rate old players higher because you arent seeing them make mistakes right now
