Ireland v Denmark 18/11/2019

Did Terry Phelan manage a team in New Zealand. Otago or Bay of Plenty someone like that.
Granted only a friendly but Cullen has looked decent in both games he has played.

Will the DVD be released in time for Christmas?

Brady got 7/10 on the 42. Would have given him 5/10

Big Mick all but confirmed he wouldn’t be starting on Monday in his post match interview.

I doubt we’ll ever see Byrne play for Ireland again.

Poor Tony didn’t understand what he was saying at all and followed up mick’s diplomatic statement that he won’t be starting by asking if he’d be starting.

You obviously didn’t watch the match mate.

I’m just on the second half here on iptv cc @Fagan_ODowd

Troy Parrott staying with the Republic of Ireland squad for Monday’s game against Denmark. Derrick Williams our with a calf injury while Lee O’Connor is released back to the 21s squad

Good bench option anyway, especially since @Big_Dan_Campbell would probably happy for it to be 0-0 with 20 mins to go

Team I see starting now.

Randolph

Doherty, Duffy, Egan, Stevens

Robinson, Hendrick, Whelan, Hourihane, McClean

McGoldick

Get to 70 minutes 0-0 and unleash Brady, Parrott and O’Dowda for Whelan, Hourihane and Stevens.

Go for broke then.

Connolly, McCarthy and Long were 3 players I had previously thought would be on the pitch in the last 20 minutes.

We need the Swiss to beat the pesky Georgians tonight if they draw we are fucked as we will then need to beat Denmark by two .

How would a Georgian win stand to us?

That would be ok however unlikely but a three way tie would be the nightmare scenario where we all finish on 15 pts.

If it’s a draw tonight, Ireland are out. I’m basing that on Gibraltar losing both their games.

Not out, would need to beat Denmark by two clear goals.

Was this always known? Ffs

I always thought we win and we are through. Hopefully it doesnt come to it. Be our luck to win 1-0 on Monday and still not qualify

If it’s a draw tonight and us, the Danes and the Swiss finish on 15, would we not be out on goal difference?

That is my understanding and the nightmare scenario

In a 3 way tie only goals scored for and against the 3 teams are counted. Switzerland - Denmark 3-3 and 1 nil Denmark. Switzerland - Ireland 1-1 and 2-0 Switzerland. Denmark - Ireland 1-1 in first game. If the Swiss were away tonight id be very very nervous of a dour draw but with home advantage and qualification in their own hands to get there with a win id expect a comfortable 3 nil win for them.
