Best Irish away win since Cardiff 2017 and Vienna 2016 just before it. Although Dan Mc and Gav Cooney will long for that magical night in Luxembourg in late 2021.

The most pleasing thing about that second half is it was so clear the players really wanted to win. They smelled it and they wanted it.

That’s down to the manager. He has convinced them he’s the man.

Glad we ended up with Heimir instead of that spoofer Carsley. He toyed with us but never really wanted “the Ireland gig”.
