It’s always the forwards who get the curly finger first. Even with that last move where Jason Knight almost got on the end of it, you’d have the feeling that Ferguson could have ghosted in there and scored. Obafemi is more of a maverick and unpredictable type up front than your hold up and work rate type like Idah too.

I think this result is the worst thing that could have happened tonight. Nothing will change.
Knight has nothing more to give. We could take off one of the other two midfielders too. Or even go to a back four & bring on Magic Johnston or something.

Only hope here is it stays like this for another 10 or 12 mins and French start to play deeper or go into their shell and stop chasing a 2nd and we knick one like that 1-1 smash and grab vs Poland a few years ago.
