Ireland v Georgia & Ireland v Faroe Islands & Ireland v Spain

Very harsh Red card that considering its a friendly too. Long hadn’t a hope of getting the ball there & should have done better really

Another mistake and Long in on goal again. Keeper takes him out outside the box and gets red carded.

Long had chipped the ball wide but it was a cynical professional foul so red card was obvious even in a friendly. Not a great touch from Long but his pace is causing them problems.

How old is yer man that came off? he looks about 14

Straight red for the Georgia keeper

Nice strike from McClean from the resultant free kick. Decent save.

Ray subtlety calling the keeper fat.

Great save there by the new keeper Bandageishvilli

Keogh hit a shot pretty much backwards earlier and has just played a 4 yard pass 6 yards wide of its target.

That was a lovely strike by Long

Word is they were handing out Free Tickets on the streets outside the stadium before kick-off

Great effort from Long with a volley from a very awkward height.

The sending off will make a balls of the game now. Target practice.

Good win in the air by Cox and Long fires narrowly wide with a really good strike from distance. Great technique.

2 footed tackle there

What’s the story with the strip we’re wearing?

I think you might be misjudging the gap in quality between the two teams. We’ll need to play well to beat them.

They haven’t been out of their own half since the sending off.
I suppose it will be a bit of practice at trying to break down a packed defense, something we are not particularly good at.

Ray giving out about Ireland’s lack of width in the last attack when Wilson was in advanced position on the left touchline looking for the ball.

As soon as I type that the cunts get a corner.

Was about to say the same thing. McShane wasn’t as far forward but he was in loads of space on the other flank too. Ray was just choosing to complain about something that clearly wasn’t true. Unfortunately for him they showed a wide camera angle just as he was making the point and exposed him as a bluffer.
