Ray’s commentary for the second goal: “What was the goalkeeper thinking of?” Ray always thinks that everything is down to bad decision making, he doesn’t get that players make mistakes. When Lewandowski dribbled the ball out of play early on last week he was the same, “What’s he thinking of there? Why did he run it out of play?” Eh, he didn’t mean to Ray.
He wont get much chance here you’d imagine.

After a year out with injury I presume he is just mad for a run. Also shows prospective suitors that he is over the injuries and able to play again. Obviously if he was to have a re-occurrence it wouldn’t be good
Indeed. I think Long has looked sharp and given us good options but he’s been wasteful too.
Hoolahan has been impressive since the break. Nice ball for the goal, nice through ball to Long. Ray thought a simple switch out to Long was the best of the lot judging by his inane comments about vision when he just floated a nice simple pass out wide to a guy in space.

For all the praise Long gets, Robbie just showed there that even now he’s still the more likely to bag you a goal, imo.
