Aside from the late (call up) Brian Lenihan, what other right backs are in the squad? Meyler played there against Oman in a friendly not too long ago. O’Neill seems to be taken by Jeff Hendrick’s ability.
Heard Rody Collins (I think) on the radio recently and wasn’t overly complimentary of Brian Lenihan.
I think the only other options are O’Shea and Wilson.
As I said in the other thread, the omission of Matt Doherty is bizarre to say the least. Hendrick is a very good player in the making, would like to see him start
I can confirm the team are currently en route to the stadium. I nearly collided with the bus just there.
The bus just went past my apartment in Dublin 2. Aviva Stadium eta 15.26.
They made good time so. A red Expressway.
Indeed. The players are wearing tracksuit bottoms and green polo shirts rather than suited attire. I sensed a real focus and steely determination about them.
We should make a wager on this game, they put up their Rock agains ours, winner takes all.
Where? I passed them around larche in baldoyle and can confirm they looked assured and confidant. Doey passed them at the level crossing and o neill and keane returned his salutation.

Christ that’s as bad a team as I can ever lining out for a in a competitive International. Thank fuck for Rob and Aiden.
Is there a big crowd in the singing Section today?
I think we will win this comfortably. 6-0 with Keane to bag a brace and McGeady to get on the scoresheet
The Gibralter keeper can’t hit a goal kick, lovely ball from Houlahan and McGeady squares it for our captain to put us one up
