Stephen Kenny is out of his depth. Sooner he goes the better realistically for everyone including himself. Its unfortunate but the longer it does go on - the worse it will get I reckon.
The argument for keeping Spock is usually that thereās no one better out there. I donāt buy that but canāt think of any decent manager that the FAI could afford who would want the job now. Is there one?
Lee Carsley if we wanted a manager with connections to the country. Anthony Barry seemed to bring a bit of shape to proceedings at one stage in the Kenny era before Belgium poached him. Maybe a savvy foreign coach in the mould of Martin Jol or Rafa Benitez otherwise. Ralph Hassenheutl would be an ideal choice but is probably outside our price range.
