I think Doherty has been very poor. Heās shown huge pace at times but doesnāt want to use it. Has he put in a decent cross? Stevens pretty shit also.

Itās not awful but the final ball, actually creating a goalscoring opportunity, thatās not there bar Robinson.
We lack genuine quality in the final third. Iād be tempted to swap Clark for Brady, move Stevens to LCB.

He genuinely would. Weāre too afraid to try the killer pass at times, Brady infuriates because he trys things. True, sometimes they donāt come off but I think heād add a bit out there. Iād have him on for Doherty or Stevens
Lads Iāll tell you now, Iām unreal good at predicting how much injury time thereāll be in any half of football. I predicted 1 minute there and was spot on. In fairness, that was a straightforward ask and first halves usually are easier. But Iām even stronger with second halves and all the substitutions, usually more time wasting, fatigue/cramp injuries and so on. It separates the men from the boys and I just have that innate quality to pluck out an unprecedented 5 minutes or whatever it may be. Note, itās generally 3 minutes for second halves.

He gave a lovely pass the Stevens in the lead up to the chance and won a free kick a minute later and has done nothing since really. Luxembourg seem to want to let us start from the other side instead with Clark and Stevens under pressure there

The āplay footballā brigade will completely overlook how Luxembourg drew 0-0 with the mighty France by parking the bus. Either that or theyāll use it to support their narrative and suggest that Luxembourg are hard beaten and that a 0-0 draw with them actually reflects well on Stephen Kenny.

I said it after the last game but in a 3-5-2 you really rely on your wing backs to provide the spark and again theyāve both been cat
Very little ball down his flank, Stevens though has seen loads of ball & hasnāt been good with it.

Part of the problem is they get the ball on the flank and they donāt have (m)any passing options.

That was average at best.
Pace is too slow. Weāve done ok with Robinson in wide areas but weāve no creativity through the middle at all as improved and all as Luxembourg allegedly are theyāre obviously very limited but theyāve stopped us passing through them.
Our football is too conservative around the build up but thatās simple for them to just sit in and then weāve been sloppy when weāve tried one touch stuff.
