I have said it numerous times, Kenny really needed to stay with the 21s, get them to the Euros and then take the senior job with huge goodwill from the fans and a solid relationship with the younger players who would be another year further on in their development.

When the last time we were out of contention for qualification so early?
I wouldnât put Kenny in the same sentence as Trappatoni. We had plenty of good results under him relative to what we are seeing now.
