I acknowledge people may roll eyes at those displaying their “amn’t I great to still attend?” credentials at the game & on social media…but I’m looking forward to the jaunt into Dublin 4 this evening. Could be Coleman’s last Ireland game but hopefully not, might see a start for Vale, a couple of debuts off the bench (Lawal? Alli?), a chance to give the squad an ovation &, most importantly, the return from suspension of Liam Scales.

Keane was wrong to walk away from the team. But a manager’s job is to manage (in this case meaning mollify your prima Donna most important player). So McCarthy was also wrong.
