Any others?

Nasty stuff here

Did @smark manage to offload the ticket for full value? That’ll tell us the interest

Very surprising to see the supposedly humble football lot deciding to pay for tickets and not turn up.

Ah it’s a bit of a joke for those of us claiming the Irish soccer team are the TEAM OF US. Very hard to argue away 11k people actually paying for tickets and then literally not turning up.
1-0 to the rugby lads on this one.

Not isn’t. For people who don’t live in Dublin you can easily see how they wouldn’t turn up.

Ireland only play about 5 home matches a year. Turn up to fuck.

Pathetic. They’d all have been there ole’ing ole’ing getting sefies for the socials if matters had been different.

Once again it further proves, the wrong sort of cunt gets tickets to things in this country.

Thanks God for the GAA and how they distribute tickets to the Clubs. The humble Club Secretary is the only one who should have these sort of calls.

40k people did. It’s easy see why people who don’t live in the city might not have. You’re being pretty silly.

I didn’t have a ticket either way but Johnny Muldoon’s manager isn’t going to best pleased if he’s missing a midweek training session to go to an Ireland v Macedonia friendly. Johnny Muldoon’s manager would’ve moved training to Wednesday if it had been Ireland v Denmark in a play-off to go to the World Cup.

Was there a higher attendance anywhere in Europe last night bar Wembley?

There was hardly 11,000 Johnny muldoons who had tickets. It’s not very bestfansintheworldish and Im a paid up member of the club.

I couldn’t justify heading up from Cork for a dead rubber and leaving my wife to wrestle 3 kids to bed. That is a far worse crime than not attending

No, they all had hurling training you see. Best bandwagoners in the world.

Both sides here won (but they lost)

In fairness you have to hand it to the Rugby lads, they’re more motivated to go to a meaningless friendly, or “test” as I believe they call it.

vibes dont matter for the minority sports

Ah 39k is a savage attendance in fairness. It’s almost as big a crowd as you’d get for a big regional niche pastime cup game in Munster, and the soccer football fans wouldn’t be used to going to matches either.

Yeah. Johnny Muldoon is a bandwagoner interested in the occasion and not so much the soccer…that’s fine. It’s what we all know
