Forde was shocking for their second goal. All four of the back four was dreadful. Bizarrely Josh was probably the best of them. The full backs were completely inept both defensively and in possession. Dunne looked curiously like a guy who hasn’t played in a year or so.
Central midfield was non existent. Not helped by O’Shea and Dunne hoofing it but they were shocking. McLean was limited but worked hard. Walters was very poor.
Long ran around a bit but what a dreadful decision not to square to Keane. Inexplicably appalling. Ronnie didn’t see much ball but took his goal really well.
End of an era for Trap after this campaign I imagine. We’ll still have brutal players unfortunately.
Dunne was pulling a plough for most of the game, understandably so yet still could keep up with the great Z in the last minutes.
Appoint a new coach now and use the remaining games to build for the next European championships.
