Ireland v Wales - March 24th 2017

Friday night lights and a game of massive importance…Can’t beat it.

Shall be pinting/gattin from 6ish. The ginger man then a can or 2 outside slatterys/beggars bush.

Have a bad feeling though…think we’ll sit back and try catch them on the break. Would take a draw right now

Irish Rail say trains will run unaffected, we’ll see early tomorrow anyway I suppose

Trains will definitely run just a matter if the station in limericks will be operating. Zip out to the junction if not will be no pickets there no bus depot

Superb 2-0 win for the U19 side against Italy tonight in the elite qualifying phase. Gorey’s Conor Levingston with one of the goals. The U17s qualified from their elite group last weekend too. No sign of RTÉ showing any of these games live.

Too busy spending their budget on montages lamenting the loss of rugby

I’m stationed 300m from the Welsh team and my son is fulfilling his patriotic duty. Roaring for about 2 hours now. There’s no way those cunts can’t hear his antics.

Blame UEFA for not making a condition of showing the senior game a commitment to also showing the underage games.

Sigh.

Train services a lot worse hit than Irish rail expected. Start looking at your options gents @Julio_Geordio @dodgy_keeper

Trains from cork and limericks to Dublin both on reduced services according to radio

Anyone got a spare ticket lads? @Bandage @rocko @funtime @dodgy_keeper @PoisonousMisanthrope @Julio_Geordio
What about you @Dav1 surely you’ve got serious connections?

Irish rail really are useless

I’m not following this, but is this not a case of drivers simply not passing the picket? I’d imagine its not the most welcoming of pickets one could encounter…

Yes but they announced yesterday they would be unaffected, then today everything is fucked. You’d think they’d have known the drivers wouldn’t pass the picket when it was speculated on here. They also have no contingency plan in place for such an event so they’ve no idea which trains are running or where they’ll stop etc

Surely they had to announce that they wouldn’t be affected, as to not do so, would almost encourage the drivers not to cross the picket?

Surely they have to warn people that they might not be able to get to work or whatever in the morning?

A cursory warning could have been issued with the message perhaps, but in truth, to believe that services would run without a hitch, that workers would simply pass a picket, is a little naive I would think.

Bus station and train station 2 different locations in cork don’t know what the problem is

Plenty trains are working. The expectation was there may be an issue where they shared a depot e.g. limerick
