Ireland v Wales - March 24th 2017

Outstanding Coleman. Can’t hold onto the ball sadly, but unfortunately to be expected given what’s out there.

You are a fucking deviant .

You know it’s true.

Lovely Tipp handshake from Long. This is hard going.

Meyler living up to the second touch being a tackle there.

The lad with the trumpet is terrible

Like Gonzo in the muppet show .

O’Neill will be thrilled with this.

Aboy Glenn…fuck him.

We’ve got away with some lovely elbows in the last few minutes

Don’t think Whelans was intentional.

Very conservative performance so far. Hendrick a bit wasted further forward because he’s just dropping deep anyway. We’ve put very little pressure on them on the ball and created precious little.

McGeady would be a big help. Before then we need more from Walters - get him in centrally to rough them up at least

Hendrick needs to be more agressive

Strange how positive RTE are being about this considering the complaining they used to do in the past about performances like this. I would also get McGeady on soon enough

Hendrick is being by-passed due to our long ball strategy.

Look Wales havent had a proper chance…we’re getting challenges in…and we’re well capable of nicking this.

Im happy with that first half.

We’ve given Gareth Bale nothing.

Eire have have at least steadied the game into a dirge.

Wales were well on top in the opening 15 minutes.

Jamesie has been very good turning over possession but overall the attacking efforts from both teams have been very poor.

A deflection or a mistake could decide it.

Hendrick really got away with one when he fell over.

0-0 looks the likeliest outcome at this stage.

Ah yeah it’s not a disaster or anything. Just not comfortable with not creating any chances at all. They’re not that good that we need to stand off them so much.

Lads 'tis hard to watch

We’re without our most creative midfield players…its v difficult when McCarthy then gets injured in the warm up.

We’re doing v well in giving a world class player Bale no joy at all…the long ball stuff is a tough watch but I only care about the result tonight.

What’s up with dunphys eye?

Can hear Keane roaring Meyler keep the ball.

Giving it to someone who could would be a start.
