Ireland Versus Bosnia

This match should be a complete bore.

I have a free premium level ticket sorted for this apparently. :pint:

Very good opportunity for Gibson and McClean so will be interesting to see how they do if nothing else. A big game and the former could push Whelan out of the side while if McClean delivers Duff and McGeady could be under threat.

McClean’s best hope is to threaten Hunt for the impact sub role I think.

I also don’t think there’s any chance of Whelan not playing outside of injuries or suspensions. Trap trusts him in the middle of the pitch, he places a lot of store in trust.

That said I do think it’s useful to give Gibson the run as we never know when we might need him to start or come off the bench. And while Hunt has done well at changing the pace of a game in the past, he’s not really that good so if McClean shows good dynamic running and some decent crossing he could well be that sub. Also there’s a chance that Trap might change both wingers at some stage in the competition (he always changes at least one).

How is McShane starting? Kelly, Foley injured?

Don’t think I’ll be able to watch this tomorrow what with the Blades playing in the play-off final, although I probably wouldn’t have bothered watching it anyway. Can’t wait for the piss-ups in the squares in Poznan, Gdansk and Torun though. I’d say the Guinness will be flowing like running water and who cares about the results, we’ll win the singing contest anyway. Ole, Ole, Ole.

+1 Sid. Who honestly gives a flying fuck about this game or the Hungary one on Bank Holiday Monday

Can’t believe there are simpletons who will pay into watch that today

As you say, roll on Poznan and Gdansk

I’m absolutely pumped for the game. Setting off from Wexford at 11am. COYBIG.

Cracking big game atmosphere around Fingal this morning. The team dined in Portmarnock last night, sitting in twos and threes at individual tables. Trap sat on his own, maintaining a professional distance from his players.

The people who don’t go to friendlies are thieving the FAI who in turn might have to reduce John Delaney’s modest €400k salary who in turn might not be able to afford free drink for these very same Big Game Billys when he encounters them in Poland.

TDB hardly accepted a drink from that cunt?

I just can’t wait to live the dream in County Poznan and County Gdansk. Drinking in public, acting the buffoon and generally making the natives’ lives hell is what it’s all about. :pint:

Carnival atmosphere. What a glorious day. Please, no injuries to key players. :ireland:

Link please

anyone???

Paul Mc Ramos.

Starting to get on top here in the past few minutes, could do with creating a few clear cut chances

Keane with a half chance and Duff just wide there after some neat link up play between himself, McShane and Keane.

Duff and Keane have looked sharp thus far

Duff unlucky there on the stroke of h/t. lovely little ball from keane to him but the keeper was alert
