Ireland vs Finland/England

Dare we suggest that one might be venturing into midfield @neilld?

It might be but teams are playing different shapes in & out of possession these days. I think Big Heimir favours a 442/4411 & heā€™s spoken lately about trying to build up combinations in the team. So I reckon heā€™s broadly going to retain that but Scales might tuck in & Oā€™Dowda drop back to make a back five when weā€™re defending. You couldnā€™t really play two wingers (especially one like Johnston with no defensive instincts) & two strikers away to a much higher ranked side without getting a complete hole opening. You might get one anyway even trying to set up more defensively though.

Iā€™ve waited a long time for this

Weā€™re gonna do them today lads

I like Scales on the left. He can tuck in nice but heā€™s quick enough to get forward.

6 at the back and just ignore midfield mightnā€™t be such a bad option today though

FOTF Gav clears it up with these tweets. :joy:

Best of luck to Paddy. Enjoy your big day at Headquarters.

All this booing on both sides is very childish.

You tan bastard. Go shit in your hat

You wouldnā€™t see it at the rubby.

Thatā€™s why no one likes rubby.

Nice fine in return for Engerland

Was there a murmur of booing of the anthem there?

England edged the booing

The soccer crowd are very feral.

I predict a 1-1 victory.

Beats this shit any day

Edit edit: 4141 out of possession. Sammie to the left wing, Festy on the right, Collins into holding midfield (cc @neilld).

Anything less than a 3 nil loss is an Irish victory.
