Irelands greatest ever Statesman -Martin McGuinness

There will be 2 sides of course

Ferris was talking about McGuinness on Newstalk this morning and he was saying how when McGuinness and Paisley went to the States on some visit, McGuinness would look after Paisley and make sure he was ok and that the schedule was not too much for him. Some man McGuinness to be able to look after a once bitter enemy like that.

Shame this was over looked by that bitter cunt stack coming on.

Is he not you?

I havenā€™t a clue what youā€™re on about.

Rascal is a much underused word. :+1:

A book of condolence will be open at the Mansion House in Dublin tomorrow and Thursday.

Do we have any idea of funeral arrangements?

Waiting on it hereā€¦ Iā€™ll probably drive up myself.

Did you pass the test?

Tremendous words. Colin Parry also spoke very well re. his dealings with Martin McGuinness on Morning Ireland today.

In fairness though, people are perfectly entitled to remain bitter and not to forgive, if thatā€™s how they feel. I wouldnā€™t fault Norman Tebbit for taking the approach he took today.

Mhmm. Not sure the same forgive and forget, great to see reconciliation is what is needed now attitude, is afforded to the British Army on Bloody Sunday.
