Bar Chippy and Mark Lawrenson .
They may have been better players but not for Ireland
And?
Ah for fucks sake.
Great servant to his country and all, but he isnât fit to tie Bradyâs boots.
Brady was the only true elite level player we ever had.
He was in his fuck you gowl
Itâs like saying Wayne Rooney was the best England player because of his scoring record. He wouldnât realistically make the top 10.
Its no surprise a group of accountants think he is the greatest ever, they can only see numbers.
Trap was right.
God bless you Rob. You did the state some service, they know it. No more of that.
Its like Ryan giggs being a great man united player.
Very committed lads. They follow Oman away.
Brady was a better player, without doubt but didnât do as much for Ireland
You probably think some Cork traitor that ran away when the going got tough was better for Ireland so I wouldnât take much notice of what you say
Robbie Keane has 46 more goals than the nearest competitor. Just because he has more goals doesnât mean heâs better but being such a massive outlier does. Heâs scored important goals in competitive matches against Germany, France, Italy and Spain and probably a few more I forget
Serbia (Yugoslavia at the time), Netherlands, Macedonia, Iran
In fairness @caoimhaoin has been negatively disposed towards Robbie Keane on here for many years. He knew someone who said he had a bad attitude and was a poor trainer.
He played for 17 years, up front.
He was a great servant and a good striker. But he had an awful period too and he also had a questionable attitude on the pitch for a long time.
I canât be fucked looking but i would like to see how he stacks up goals per game to everyone else both irish and international.
And i was also happy to admit he improced over last few years and definitely seemed to be a positive influence very recently
