Robbie Keane has 46 more goals than the nearest competitor. Just because he has more goals doesnât mean heâs better but being such a massive outlier does. Heâs scored important goals in competitive matches against Germany, France, Italy and Spain and probably a few more I forget

In fairness @caoimhaoin has been negatively disposed towards Robbie Keane on here for many years. He knew someone who said he had a bad attitude and was a poor trainer.

He played for 17 years, up front.
He was a great servant and a good striker. But he had an awful period too and he also had a questionable attitude on the pitch for a long time.
I canât be fucked looking but i would like to see how he stacks up goals per game to everyone else both irish and international.
And i was also happy to admit he improced over last few years and definitely seemed to be a positive influence very recently
