Ireland's health service

Yes it is. I think they would have been as well in the public system to be honest, but maybe not.
It’s a BlackRock clinic place.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a person who had a positive experience in the Galway Clinic. The Bons seems a better run shop.

My own experience in the Galway Clinic was not positive. Over five hours waiting under a paper thin blanket in the cold to be called for eye surgery with only a curtain to look at with my remaining eye with sight. Wasn’t told at any point how long roughly I might have to wait. The place was freezing and I had to try and cower under the clothes which I’d had to take off. Didn’t meet my surgeon at any point. Nobody there after the surgery except one nurse who had a demeanour like an Eastern European communist dictator.

I had a colonoscopy in the Bons and it was an absolute breeze, in for 8am, out by 10:45, two polyps removed, a clear and concise explanation by the consultant after I’d woken up.

In fairness, the receptionist on ED was lovely, as was the nurse or healthcare assistant, as was the consultant, a Limerick man. The system though seems crackers
