For a fella who protested the iraq war you have really become an establishment stooge. In the event that a similar invasion occured again of course ffg would send young irish men and women to fight, even if not legally obliged, to be good europeans. Its very easy for men above the military age to say we should put our young people literally in the firiing line.

Anybody who was genuinely against the war in Iraq and understands the ideology that caused it is fervently pro-Ukraine and helping with them in any way they can be helped, most especially with weapons.
It has since been proven that a lot of those who claimed to be against the Iraq War - like John Pilger, George Galloway, Jeremy Corbyn, and in this country Catherine Connolly, Mick Wallace Clare Daly, were merely cosplaying, and were not against imperial invasion and slaughter at all, merely against American invasion. They are fervently pro-Russian Nazi slaughter.
