Belfast’s Aidan Walsh goes for a medal against the Mauritian, Mervin Clair in the welterweight QF shortly.
Walsh controlled that fight. 4-1. Mauritian outclassed. Bronze in the bag.
Fight before it was a cracker. McCormack #1 seed got a chasing in the 3rd but clung on. Very intriguing division this. Walsh will need to step it up next time.
