He has a serious temperament on him this lad, i hope its not a false dawn though as he will have serious expectations on him when he does turn pro. The lad smiled all the way round and it was hard not to be drawn in by him.
Was there yesterday, a great days sport but by fuck was it wet at the end.
Well worth it though, the highlight being his 2nd shots at the 14th and 16th that led to birdies. Great atmosphere.

What the fuck does any of this have to do with Laois??,other than that its a shit County for sport so they latch onto the successes of neighbouring Counties,much like our own neighbours Carlow.
Great win for the big man yesterday. The three wood from the fairway on the second play off hole was immense. I guess it goes without saying that if he wants to remain successful long term that he needs to start resembling something of an athlete but thats for another day.
I have one major gripe though. How many fucking cops were at the event. There was two next to Lowry for the entire time I was watching it. Did they think someone was going to attack him with a screwdriver or something. When you watch the Masters etc you dont see cops there acting as second caddies but yesterday there was two gimps in their uniforms earning serious overtime. Only consolation was they got thoroughly pissed on and were made at least sweat for their money by walking the entire course. Still though it looked ridiculous.
