What was 1.5 mill or something? I remember thinking thatâs a lot for a lad who has done little enough
Irish U21 striker James Collins scored a hat-trick for Swindon against Stoke tonight.
Enda Stevens made his competitive debut for Villa last night and set up a goal. Reports state he was decent enough but with a new left back coming in and Baker and Lichaj already been used there this season, he seems well down the pecking order.
Some kid came on for Villa tonight and seemingly did well. Graham Burke was his name. Surely Irish qualified.
He is indeed. Did Carruthers get a run? Impressed me at the tail-end of last season.
No surprisingly, wasnt on the bench either from what I can gather. Maybe he is injured.
Pretty sure he has been on the bench for at least one of Villaâs first 2 games if not both.
With the way Nzogbia is performing, he is likely to get more chances this season.

The FAI has confirmed that Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has decided to withdraw from the Republic of Ireland squad to face Kazakhstan on 7 September.
Speaking today, Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni said: âWhen Darron informed me of his decision to withdraw, I called him to talk things through.
âAs we embark upon a brand new campaign, he is very much in my plans and I consider him to be a key player for Ireland for this campaign.
âHowever, Darron has said that although he doesnât want to let anyone down, he doesnât feel ready to to return to the squad for this fixture after the disappointment of Euro 2012.
âI hope that Darron will take this time to reflect positively on his international career, and return to us in time for the Germany game in October.â
Very concerning.

Bizarre stuff from Gibson. Thought heâd grow into the team in this campaign.
Did Ireland ever attempt to cap Mark Noble?
