Brighton have a lovely run of games coming, started with Ajax during the week who seem to have been destroyed by their previous management.

Great to see Harry Arter back at it. Captained Forest U-21s to a famous 4-1 away victory over Gedlings Minors Welfare in the County League tonight

Outside of Liverpool all the big English clubs are now producing high qualify home grown players. England have a stack of quality young lads.

Is it a brexit related disaster our best young lads
Can’t go at 13 or 14 anymore to these world class elite level academies.

It has me thinking.

Maybe start by listing the flood of world-class youngsters that came through in the decade before brexit

But back then they weren’t producing any youth players really. Not in the numbers they are now anyway.

My point was clearly the youth development has improved over there just when that Avenue is closed off to our best young lads.

It might be that they’re casting the net wider than ever and the elite .5% is consequently less likely to be drawn from these shores

An interesting list

A few names there I literally only know from CM 01/02. Not heard of most of them

What a howler from Bazunu.

I make it 24 of the 53 I’ve heard of.

Its accepted that a percentage of pass backs will lead to howlers but they are worth taking

Im not saying the mistake was a positve for Southampton but it is
