Obviously had a couple of really poor moments to gift them two chances. Pretty sure it was O’Dowda sleeping for the first. Fine ball from Kjaer but the run was early and obvious and should have been covered.

Then Clark fucked up hugely for the second one. And Randolph wasn’t great on that one either.

Otherwise we’re doing ok and happy to see how they’re playing. Clark is a bit sloppy and Christie might be vulnerable to long balls onto his head but with that back 4 we have we really want teams to go long.

Think Arter has been really good in front of them. Beglin was critical of him earlier but changed his mind. He might have gone forward quicker once or twice but he’s been really disciplined in there and he’s robbed Eriksen a few times and generally made them uncomfortable on it.

I’m not sure we’re getting enough from O’Dowda but not sure what the alternative would be. We’ll need Long to replace Murphy who will tire and McGeady doesn’t really have the defensive traits required to mark that left back. O’Dowda hopefully learned his defensive lesson but he’s not quite doing enough on the ball I don’t think.
