I don’t think it would have been easy for us to knock the ball about with their style and shape anyway. They weren’t going to stand off and let us play it around.
Kept them quiet in the second half. Got a bit too deep for the last few but I guess that’s natural. Eriksen hardly did anything of note in the second half. They actually got more joy out of long stuff to Poulsen and Bendtner had two decent possessions in our box but fucked them both up.

International football is all about making yourself hard to beat. Denmark are not a bad side but Ireland will bring the majority of sides down to their level and that’s very important in the results business.

Not particularly mate. I just get a bit frustrated when the ball is thumped forward aimlessly and continuously giving the ball back to what was an ordinary side.

I won’t give a fuck about how aesthetically pleasing these two games were as long as I’m partying in Yekaterinburg next June.
Tuesday is absolutely huge. Everybody, Republican or otherwise has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small. No one is too old or too young to do something.
