This international window is a farce.
In a pandemic, with the last season unable to complete properly, the solution was to play more matches in a shorter time frame the next season.
Think the false positive thing is just bad luck and nothing to do with incompetence. But we will have weeks of Covid carnage when the players all return to their club squads.

We just have to get on with it as best we can.
Thereās no way international football should be played this year. Club European football is a stretch even but at least thatās a club all.l flying together. These Irish players will all fly back to the clubs on commercial flights and then meet up with a dozen other players all arriving on commercial flights from a dozen other countries who have all just been close contacts of 20 other players from more clubs in more countries. Itās the opposite of what should be happening.
