An enjoyable nil nil.
Ogbene did more in 5 minutes than most of the others in 90. Until we add pace we’re at nothing. Id start Ogbene and Obafemi.

That was our best game since Slovakia, very young side give them time.
Happy with that. I thought we played well enough, good application and shape, a few decent combinations as the game progressed. Plenty of fine individual displays too. Maybe we’ll look back on this week as the one where new players began to find their feet at this level.

We look solid out at keeper for another 15 years with Kelleher and Baz.
We’ve a few promising/decent/ok-ish/adequate youngsters coming through but the lack of really solid, experienced senior pros will really hurt us over this campaign and the next.
It will, it’s almost a full transition but they are finding their feet at this level. The next Euro campaign should come at just the right time for them.
Missed this but good to hear it was fairly good, especially Knight. Happy as well if we mixed it up more with more direct balls
