Would he be up to the standard of international. Surely if he’s at Getafe, he’s worth a look, though I read he is injured again?

Robbie Brady would be a significant upgrade on Browne and McGrath when he gets a new club. See him with the squad last night.

Brady is done

He’s not. He’s trained like a savage all summer apparently. Whoever picks him up will reap a few rewards for their gamble.

Bazunus distribution is so good he’s almost like a Gaelic football keeper.

I like Brady but there must be a reason he doesn’t have a club with the season well underway. Also, you’re a great man for thinking that lads who aren’t playing through injury or whatever are going to be some kind of miracle cure when they get back

Brady hasn’t looked the same player since he had that ankle/Achilles injury a few years back. It’s a shame as he looked like a lad who could really be a talisman for us coming off Euro 2016.

It also didn’t help that he was constantly shifted into different positions too

Very true but Brady is only 29. I wouldnt be writing him off yet. If he could back to his best he would be a huge addition.

Sadly his career has been one large underachievement. I’m not sure what makes you think it’ll turn around in his 30s.

The move to Burnley was ill advised.

He could do a Weso on it

He’s already been at Norwich

Very confident and comfortable.

Probably left a bit too much on the final ball, but we’ll give him a pass this time.

If there is any way he can play as a holding midfielder flanked by Cullen and Knight we need to give it a try, we have plenty of central defenders to shuffle around long term.

A few years ago a midfield 3 of Brady, Hendrick and McCarthy looked like it could have a nice balance
