Only Arter in the midfield has got pass marks so far. McGeady is the man Ireland need here.

First goal was a bad break, you could argue he should have done better. Chances are if it was a cleaner strike he would have blocked it. Meyler stood way off his man and we conceded the corner and Hendrick and Arter should have done much better in closing the short corner. Christie should have dine better on the line but it could easily have been avoided.
If you think that the right back is one of the main people culpable for the second goal then you are as well off turning off the TV and shoving your thumb up your hole

Great start and throw it away. Arter was awful for the first, Ward diabolical for the second. They’ve killed us down our right, Christie has been woeful.
The polar opposite to Saturday, been far too open. Should have continued from Saturday and try make it a slugfest, drag them down to our level. Instead they’ve picked us off.
This is like Serbia all over, could be there all week and wouldn’t score two in the second half.

Largely same misgivings as over there, ball coming back way to quickly, no outlet in midfield… the few times we got it done and made runs we troubled them… At this stage we just need to worry about the counter attack so our mid/ defence need to position themselves accordingly… I’d nearly go with Mcgeady for Brady and run at the bastards and draw fouls…
Fuck yourself, far better than Meyler, Brady and Hendrick.

All the Eire players are very very poor at the basics of the game.
