Like all sport down to moments and chances,had Slabs effort went in on the nearside post we could all be here talking Russian visas but as it turned out the only world class player on the field was given far too much time and space and what follwed was the inevitable result,the Denmark that beat Poland 4-0 showed up for the gig tonight and we were completely outclassed.We have been here before all we can do now is dust ourselves down lick the gaping wounds and move onto the Euro qualifiers next year,it’s not the first time we have had miserable nights,it wont be the last but we will be back again.

You could be onto something there mate. Qualifying for the World Cup can lead to a massive hangover and lapse in form. We have been here before as well. Wilson Palacios was never the same player for us after his heroics in securing World Cup qualification for Honduras in 2009.
