ah bollux
i was OOP at the game, only saw this now
can you please send me the mickee321 login details for twitter and ill enter the fray?
with heroes like Mr. Delaney changing his name to âmiguelâ and lads like âewanâ running off to live some questionable lifestyle in Brazil . i think it is clear who has bottled it
yeah , FFS, it was obvious this was the most difficult draw, ok croatia aside⌠this was never going to end well
if NI had a finisher they would have beaten the swiss, in the end they were done by a dodgy spotter and should have won their second leg
the swiss were poor, italy poorer, âŚ
Just watching the interview now â OâDonoghue is an utter cuntâŚ
It would be more in the interest of the pretend ira lads to lay down their pretend arms and come out from behind their keyboards and use the resultant free time to get involved in grassroots coaching, get involved with local clubs and help develop skill levels.
âHeart and determinationâ and a few good songs is not enough if you want to be seen as a nation who take soccer seriously like the 10 or 12 that do.
is this the worst eire team of all time?
they are getting 90 thousand pound a week to pass the ball in a straight line
Individual mistakes were the cause of the first two goals.
The game wasnât over at 1-2. It turned into a farce second half, players didnt know what they were supposed to be doing and were all over the place - We played right into the Danes hands. Iâm no solely blaming OâNeill, mate - but he has to take his share of the blame⌠Making Meyler captain and then whipping him at 45 mins? Leaving Hendrick on when he hasnât touched a ball in 18 months âŚ
Anyway, thereâs a number of reasons of why we are at where we are at, but we currently have a group of players who for the most part are afraid to get on the ball or canât do anything with it once they do. Weâre going no where until we can sort that out.
Ireland having to chase a 2 goal lead against a superior side was a mountain to climb. They werenât going to claw that back sitting back and defending. OâNeill chased it and it didnât work. The tie was effectively over at 2-1. Ireland arenât built for chasing games against superior opposition. Individual errors created that situation.
Itâs been that way for years, even in the glory years of the late 80s and early 90s. Ireland just happened to have better players then.
donât forget Aaron Bolger mate
Delaney out!
Why did Scott Hogan not get a run out in the last four matches?
A lot was being said about him this time last year and West Ham were close to buying him? I notice that Villa are doing reasonably ok in the Championship? What kind of form is he in? Couldnât be much worse than Long at the moment.
| donât think heâs playing much but not sure on that
Shane Coleman having a go at the Danish fans earlier? What did they do? Did they celebrate their goals or something?
I doubt any of the Irish lads are on that kind of money.
They were very derivative. Barely a peep out of them before the game, at the start or when they went behind and then a bit of singing when they were winning. No sign of any shoes being waved to goad us though.
I personally got it just right last night and learned from GdaĹsk. While I stayed to the bitter end, I only hummed along to the Fields of Athenry and didnât stand up for it. I then gave the players a polite round of applause at full time to acknowledge their efforts over the totality of a long and grueling campaign.
The Danish roligans were hailed in many quarters as the best fans in the world in the 1980âs. Then along came the Eire fans.
Chtistie got nutmeged for one and failed to clear the ball off the line for the other. Ah sure he was outstanding.
