Wouldnāt have happened on Delaās watch
Dreadfully uninspiring for a time when ireland needs inspiration. The cunting hipsters and singing section devotees have won. Fuck John Delaney
This retro Republic of Ireland jacket is gone incredibly popular of late. Itās nice to be fair but ā¬90 seems a bit steep for it. Reminds me of the time @peddlerscross mentioned the boys wearing 1992 AC Milan jerseys at raves in College Court. Evan Ferguson could spearhead an era that converts those to 1994 FAI gear.
Irish football supporters are some bunch of fucking bitches. āoh, the jersey is not niceā āthe crest doesnāt look like the one from when I was 10ā. Fuck off. Itād be a very iconic jersey/crest if we beat France next Monday.
Couldnāt agree more. The deal is signed, jersey is out there, badge has been changed - move on.
Whatās the ticket situation like for next Monday?
I only have 4 and need a few more. Under Delaās watch a few phone callās could be made, but alas, we are where we are.
Bring back Trap, all is forgiven. Big Sam, give it to Conte when Spurs get rid of him. Anyone with a bit of charisma. Bring some razzmatazz back to the Senior Menās Ireland International team. Thereās no joy in watching this jobsworth ugmmm and aghhh his way through one feeble 90 minutes to the next. Just end this so we can enjoy it again.
Conte would be a great shout.
Am I right in thinking that our final standing in the upcoming group does not impact the likelihood of getting a Nations League play off?
How bad will it have to get for Kenny to get the boot? Drawing France and Netherlands was ideal for him, great cover.
I agree.
He more or less said that we hadnāt a hope when the draw was made.
We seem to do better against the strong teams (better as in still lose but not by much as opposed to losing to a shit team).
Its grand. You can buy some. Not sure about the freebie situation
Thereās a strong possibility we lose the 4 games against France and the Netherlands then it is a question of the other games as to whether he stays on or not I think. So say we pick up 4 points against Greece and 6 against Gibraltar then he could argue thatās about par. Anything less than that and thereās no argument for him to stay. Thatāll be 2 failed full qualifying campaigns so thereās no argument to go for a 3rd. No other manager would get that chance and he is already starting to lose or lost some of the goodwill he had when he first started.
He is going to have to pick up a draw at home to one of the big 2, get 4 points off the Greeks and 6 off Gibraltar. 11 points is the target in the group.
Sounds about right. Even in that scenario, unless performances were of a very high quality and we actually play really good football, I donāt think he should get another campaign.
I just hope we donāt waste a play off shot with him. Assuming one trickles down to us that is.
I would be amazed if that happened.
Iād say weāll get 2 points off the Greeks, 1 point off the Dutch, 4 off Gibraltar and 0 off the French.
