Is there a David McWilliams/Eamon dunphy type article to be written about how the changing demographic of the Irish emigrant to Britain from the 80s on meant we don’t have access to either ‘street footballers’ or lads who grew up spending their Sundays eating crisps and carvery dinners in the Irish centres of Manchester and Birmingham.
Bar rice and grealish obviously.

Hearing Chris Coleman’s name mentioned in a few places. Probably a more realistic alternative than Sean Dyche who surely has more to prove in the club game and is above our level right now.

Looks like sadlier and the otb newstalk generation are sticking to their guns

We need Big Sam.

Bradley in charge with the team built around mandriou and gaffney

Bro??

Have a look at the keith tracey under rhe cosh podcast on youtube. Really good and an eye opener on his career

Re big dam, tracey mentioned that one time he put in a great cross and after the game big sam pulled him up on it and said to win a throw in that area rather than cross it as the stats say you are more likely to score from a throw

Sounds like exactly what we need. None of our players can cross a ball. A few of them do well to kick it at all.

U21s guaranteed at least a play off and now have a free shot at topping their group in their final game away to Italy as the Swedes and Italians finished 1 apiece this evening.

When’s that on?

Great achievement without most of their best players

Lovely days action with ascot on too!

It seems even the OTBNG have turned on Kenny.

Caught a few minutes of Footix Joe on Newstalk just after 7pm and he was scathing, by his standards, of Spock.

Some serious whataboutery from Richie sadlier on the second Captains Podcast

Cracking finisher. The best striker in the world for about 20 matches.

Can we give them back their best players for this one? Since the seniors are at nothing

Sadlier and the Off the Ball heads are fucking morons. Ronaldo doesn’t run around enough…all credibility gone after that!

Bielsa is on lads.

Drink it fucking in.

In one sense I could see him being mad enough to take it, in another sense I would very much doubt we have the ability to get him or that other nations and teams would pass up the opportunity to allow him to fall to us.

That is before we get to the fact that we haven’t a pot to piss in and zero ambition from the top table.
