So I’ve started banging this Irish bird in the last week or two (I know, I know).
I travelled to her house last night which is a fair journey from my place of residence. Upon arrival I was offered a drink of water but nothing in the way of food. We’re not together long enough for me to wander into the kitchen and make something myself so I was a little put out.
The following morning, after a night of passionate love-making during which I worked hard to make sure she enjoyed herself, I pretty much had to cajole her into making me a cup of tea and something for breakfast. I was accused of being cheeky but she relented and I was served a slice of toast and a cup of liquid that could barely be described as “tea”.
I’d like to stress that it’s not that she doesn’t give a fuck, she seems to be very into the whole thing and I would also stress that when she comes to my house she’ll be waited on hand and foot and offered a variety of cereals, snacks and beverages, all prepared in a competent manner.
She admits to being a poor cook.
I was going out with another Irish girl a couple of years ago who was the same. Brutal in the kitchen and with a “get it yourself” attitude. We were together a year and she cooked me dinner about a handful of times. I contrast these two with women like my grandmother who treats you like a proper guest in her home and will expect you to do the same when she visits you. She’s not an amazing cook but can do the staples perfectly and loves to whip something up and make sure you don’t go hungry.
What the fuck is up with Irish women these days? No pride or manners anymore.
Not a chance. I’m just feeling disillusioned with our native womenfolk today. I thought they were all born knowing how to make a decent cup of tea if nothing else but clearly I was wrong.
did she at least say thank you?
(assuming you … you know… saw the job through to full height)
There were no signs of gratitude. If a man does the travelling and put on a decent show he should at least be entitled to a pat on the head afterwards was my understanding.
Her texts today have not been replied to as my way of silent protest.

Did you enjoy yourself: like was it worth the travelling?

the roles are been reveresed here - your basically in a strop because she used you to pleasure her & then didnt hug you
I did. Very much so. It was the having to beg to be fed and watered in the morning that’s moved me to comment on an internet forum about the whole thing.

I’m with Thrawneen
The lack of manners out of some Irish burds is shocking, a good nights work deserves at least some refreshment:pint:
Common courtesy is the least anyone deserves

Absolutely. Call to most anyone’s house and the lady of the house will most likely offer you at least a mug of tea if she’s that bit older. The new generation seem to regard this courteous way of existing as an affront to them and their spoilt ways.
My gripes: She can’t make a drinkable cup of tea.
She thinks it’s cheeky of me to expect her to get her hole out of bed and make me something to eat.
put yourself in her side of the bed Needy
Maybe you wore her out and her legs were still trembling
