I’m not sure it’s underrated at all. It’s fairly universally regarded as one of the best comedies ever, no matter where you are.

Nope, certainly not in the UK & Ireland where it was moved to late night slots on BBC Two. In the US it was enormous, probably the biggest sitcom of all time, but it was a dud here. Compare that to Cheers or Friends, both of which were very big over here. Even in terms of repeats, until Sky Atlantic came along Seinfeld didn’t enjoy near the syndication that Friends, Fraiser, Cheers or Mash got.

Its good yeah I often watch it Saturday mornings as it’d be on either side of the morning line. Its harmless, easy watching kind of stuff.
