IT Professionals, Guilty

I would be thinking around 25% to 33%. But will have to get more specifics as to what the role would emcompass

Attractive.

Would also be an inhouse role with the company rather than having to deal with miltiple clients so probably far less hassle/politics to deal with

Yes, well the only way you’ll make real money in IT is to move around a bit early enough in your career climbing onto the next rung as you go. Keeping moving until you find a company where these is a clear enough path to the where you want to go and settle there for a few years.

Fuck that, as soon as I have my quaire one fully qualified as a Doctor I will be back to lounging around the house and breeding spaniels

Gents, i’m having a problem with printers and my laptop. I was given a loan of a printer off my sister which was wireless but when going to ‘add a printer’ it would not appear on the list, in fact nothing did. However there was a “the printer i want wasn’t listed” link which i clicked on and brought up loads of different models and manufacturers. It wasn’t on this list either. So thinking the printer was the problem i’ve gone out and bought a new printer. It’s been set up and connected to my wireless internet, i even printed a test page. But again my laptop won’t find it and it’s not on the extensive list of printers either. I even installed the CD. How could this process be so painstaking. What in the fuck am i doing wrong?

Do you have a USB cable you can connect it with for the initial setup?

It’s a Canon printer and seems to have a non conventional USB sized cable slot? Small square one? I have nothing to hand in the house, where would i get a USB cable for a Canon printer?

That’s a standard USB printer connection

Is it a special thing? I have HDMI cables?

Good stuff.

:frowning:

Look upstairs. Most USB printer cables are located upstairs in houses these days.

I got a USB cable from a neighbour for the evening and printer is working.

However not working again when i remove the cable, it says printer offline, so i will have to buy my own.

I would say sell the laptop instead as you are not able to use it
