He’s talking about the business banking[/QUOTE]
You hurt my feelings there

IS seems to be absolutely booming at the minute. Huge demand in Ireland and the UK compared to 6 months ago.

Still slack enough for non-programming roles outside of Dublin & Cork, but it’s definitely picking up.

Incredible story breaking over the past couple of days of a massive hack attack against numerous banks that has been on-going for a few years. They reckon the hackers could have got away with up to $1bn.

Do you allow yourself much access to TFK pal?

I only really dip in and out so its not a big distraction.

Very simple program edits the host file and points whatever site you list to localhost.

I’m having a heap of server problems the past few weeks. Pain in the hole.

Have you tried Firefox?

What a shit day, only for my coolness under pressure and ability to make things happen, it could have been a total disaster. I’ll be working until after 12 tonight, but I’ll be doing so with a pep in my step and a smile on my face.

Where you the cause of the problems in the first place?

For once I wasn’t, which makes it all the better.

Any of you cunts any good with Powershell scripting?

Powershell rocks.

@cluaindiuic
I’m struggling to create a script that will move a particular set of folders for me.

The scenario

2,000 or so folders. Some of these folders contain a subfolder called 2007.
I want to move the 2007 folders to a new server, but also bring the name of the parent folder across.

e.g.
\server01\john\2007 becomes \server02\john\2007

The rest of the files within the John folder on server 01 remain untouched.

I can do it that it brings across the contents of 2007 but won’t bring across the name of the parent folder (John).

Any ideas?
