It's grim up north

It’ll never catch on.

Michelle O’Neill has been announced as the new leader of Sinn Féin in Northern Ireland.

Grand aul shoes to fill there Michelle.

Quick decision by the Army Council.

She isn’t bad looking .

Astute move from SF

Is she anything to P O’Neill?

Aren’t they all?

Was coffin surfing ever a more appropriate phrase?

She looks like a domestic Supervisor.

She is from good republican stock and that is the least we can ask for.

I was watching Michelle O’Neill’s homecoming speech in Clonoe GAA club on Periscope while keeping an eye on the Celtic match on Celtic TV earlier. I’ve had an absolutely fantastic night. Michelle O’Neill is incredible. What a leader.

Low hanging fruit in fairness. What did he do?

See ya later alligator :joy:

Republicans are constantly chided that they have to respect the traditions and history of loyalists in northern Ireland. We have to tip toe around the loyalist snowflake for fear of upsetting their grand traditions and devotion to their queen thingy (except when it comes to paying taxes to her, which is a different matter altogether for the loyalist selective snowflake).
Republicans are constantly told they have to see both sides and if they want a seat at the table of government, they have to play along with loyalist snowflakism. Martin McGuinneses’ great achievement, being a leader for all of Northern Ireland, while advancing the republican cause, while keeping the loyalists honest.
But are republicans supposed to sit quietly while a complete deceit of a leader, Arlene Foster, insults and harangues our language and traditions (the best bit was Foster complaining about the cost of the Irish language, that money could have gone on a subsidy to a rich constituent for chrissake)? Republicans could be accused of snowflakism by reacting, but Adams’ quip yesterday was perfect. She must be a massive embarrassment to the loyalists and the brit government. Michelle O’Neill will make shit of her.

What did Gerry say?

“See you later alligator”.

Foster likened giving concessions to SF as feeding a crocodile. The clip was replayed at the SF press conference, while I wasn’t impressed with O’Neill’s non-responce, Gerry chimed in with “See you later alligator”

Yes.

For decades, we’ve known that the unionists up there are cunts. Now is the time, more than ever, to temper the reaction to their nonsense and continually highlight how unreasonable, intransigent and just plain mental they are.

A big republican reaction is what these cunts want. They want lads to start making and planting again (plenty of fools on the green side might want the same) so the army can be brought back and any creeping idea of unification can be put to bed.
