What a load of oul balls. The gfa was never intended to be anything other than a cessation of hostilities before the unification of Ireland,. Everyone knew the dup would buy it so long as they were in the ascendancy, which bought time to retire the ruc and the loyalists. The tans putting a financial squeeze on us is exactly what these novelty republicans should want. Instead they’re complaining about being ignored by Westminster…ironing etc

Ulster does
But DUP holding up progress as usual

Eventually, their own people will oust them. The aul diehards will be making their way to the cemeteries soon and the younger generation, for the most part see stalling progress as pointless, and obscene.

Need to die off disgracefully before the vacuum they’ve created gets any bigger,
Shambles-
Traditionally it’ was those sons n daughters from the loyalist tradition/ background that left as soon as they qualified from university
All changed of late,
I’ve one gone last week and her fella to oz,
2 more in Queens ( bro and sister)
Who will also go - all from working class nationalist Derry,
This is being replicated all over N ans S,
But up north our bright young are needed now

Yep. The whole island’s youngsters can’t afford to buy a house. If their parents are rich enough to be able to give them the price of a deposit, they move into buildings of a terrible standard. FFG in the South, have made sure that their mates, the big tent donators from the construction companies couldn’t be held accountable for sub-standard homes. In Sweden, a building firm has to give a 50yr guarantee on anything built, and they’ll get your assets one way or the other if you built something shoddy. I don’t blame the youngsters leaving. I think the percentage of those leaving who will return will get less and less unless FFG are kept out of government. Grossly overpriced childcare, high cost of living, awful climate, poor work/life balance, slipping towards a 3rd world health system. If an American president clicks his fingers and gives the pharma and tech firms stable assurances and subsidies to return, there’s no plan B.

That’s behind a paywall so haven’t read it but the claim Jamie Bryson has much influence with grassroots loyalism is a dubious one. Himself and Stephen Nolan have a very close relationship, and it is Nolan who has influence with grassroots loyalism. Nolan was on holiday in America last week when it was ‘leaked’ to him about the DUP meeting - he then rang into his own show to break the news. If that article doesn’t include a large piece on Nolan’s role then it’s probably not worth reading.
